STUDENTS from Pershore showed their debating credentials when they came out on top in a prestigious school competition.
Eleanor Roberts, Year 11, and Erin Young, Year 10, both of Pershore High School, beat off rivals Solihull School to win the Taylor Trophy at Bromsgrove School last Monday (January 12).
From an initial 23 entries, six schools went through to the final and the girls from the Station Road site secured top spot over teams from Marling, Hereford Cathedral School, Old Swinford, Solihull School and Warwick School.
