STAFF and users of a much-loved Badsey day centre for those with learning difficulties will be scaling the heights of a London landmark to raise cash for a new minibus.
Fund-raisers from Freedom Day Centre as well as staff from two local supermarkets will climb in the O2 in the capital on September 23 in a once in a lifetime opportunity.
The money raised will fund a new minibus to ensure the popular discos held at the Pub in a Club on the High Street can continue.
It allows users to be picked up and brought to the centre to enjoy the range of opportunities on offer.
While the club already has a minibus, the growth of the service and the age of the current vehicle has forced Freedom chiefs to find the cash to fund a new one.
