HUNDREDS of local business owners and representatives from all over the county made the first Worcestershire Business Expo a huge success.
With more than 30 exhibitors, visitors flocked to Evesham’s Northwick Hotel throughout the day to network, make connections and in plenty of cases, do business. They also enjoyed free seminars and a speed networking session.
Mayor of Evesham Coun Mark Goodge, opened the event, and described it as a big boost to the town.
He said: “It’s wonderful to see so many local business people gathered in one room.
“It just shows what a great business community we have in Evesham, and throughout Worcestershire, and the Northwick Hotel is a great venue for showcasing all that’s good about this town, and the county.”
The Expo, which began with a ‘Big Breakfast’ networking event organised by Sterling Networks, and attended by 80 local businesses, was organised by Sheila Smith Sales and Events.
“This was an awesome day, the turn-out and support from local business was amazing, and the feedback has been fantastic,” Sheila said.
“We’re already planning out next one, which will probably be early next year.
“The local business community in Worcestershire have been so enthusiastic, and for Evesham, it was a great opportunity to showcase both the town, and the Northwick Hotel, who were incredibly supportive.”
