Tesco chiefs enjoy a taste of All Things Wild

CARING staff from Tesco had a taste of All Things Wild when staff members visited the popular Honeybourne venue.

The Worcester Road superstore had shown its support for the much-loved attraction during the Coronavirus lockdown with regular donations of food for more than 500 animals on site.

Store manager Matt Jones and Community Champion Lindsay Roach were on hand to pay a visit and get up close to some of the inhabitants. They met the three camel boys, who were parading some very cool haircuts as they accepted bunches of fresh leaves.

The meerkat family of four plus three of the cutest babies ever gave the pair a very warm welcome, especially when the store’s donation of pineapples was revealed.

All Thing Wild project manager Victoria Faller said: “We have been overwhelmed by people’s kindness and generosity during this exceedingly difficult time.

“Tesco Evesham have been supporting us with regular fruit and veg donations since being closed to the public due to Covid 19. These donations have meant that all our 550 animals have continued to receive the same high level of care and nutrition throughout lockdown and as such we can not thank them enough.

“We are re-open now and whilst donations are still very much needed, we cannot wait to welcome you all back to All Things Wild.”
