A TEENAGE boy was taken to hospital following an altercation at the skate park in Waterside.
Witnesses are being sought to the incident which took place at about midday last Monday (August 5).
It’s believed three other teenage boys hit the 16-year-old before he was taken to hospital and later released.
PC Jack Wright said: “We are appealing to members of the public who may have been in the area at this time that may have seen an altercation that resulted in a young man being injured.
“Unfortunately we don’t have descriptions of the individuals at this time. We do have a description of the young man who was assaulted who was wearing a distinctive t-shirt that was black with a rainbow National Citizen Service logo across the chest.
