SHOPPING chiefs at The Valley in Evesham will be getting the kettle on for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

Bosses hope to attract an army of 500 people for their coffee morning takeover next Friday (September 24) at 10.30am.

Residents can bring a chair, cuppa and or some cake and join in on the fun and donations are being sought both on the day and online.

The event is part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning run by Macmillan Cancer Support, which helps almost two million people with cancer every year.

Emily Burton, retail commercial manager at The Valley said: “It’s great to be partnering with Macmillan and to be creating such an exciting event. People affected by cancer need support now more than ever so we are hoping to raise as much money as possible.”
