MEMBERS of Evesham Quakers will mark Quaker Week by hosting a talk by People In Motion at their next meeting.
People In Motion are a Worcestershire based charity which works to help displaced persons. At present they are helping refugees in Europe.
The talk, which will be held at Evesham Quaker Meeting House in Cowl Street on Wednesday (October 3) at 7.30pm, will explain about the work they do which includes taking clothes collected from the public to refugee camps.
Several of these collections have taken place in Evesham, arranged by Evesham Welcomes Refugees. A further collection will take place on Saturday, October 27 from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the town’s Baptist Church.
