STAFF at Harvington CE First and Nursery School have been demonstrating their hidden baking talents whilst raising money for the school’s charity of the year, Vale Wildlife
By paying an entry fee and inviting children to guess who made each one, the team raised a fantastic £94.40 to help the hundreds of animals at the rescue centre.
Everyone was suitably impressed with the ‘showstopper’ creations, the winner Emma Ashmead spent hours making a woodland themed, chocolate covered masterpiece.
Headteacher Helen Fishbourne said “I knew we had a talented team here at Harvington but I didn’t realise how talented they are at baking! We all had great fun planning and making our Showstoppers!’’.
