TEATOWELS and tinsel were on show as little learners at Bengeworth CE Academy peformed their version of the nativity story ‘A Little Bird Told Me’.
Enthralled audiences of parents and family members were in attendance as youngsters took to the stage for a performance to be remembered which also conveyed an important Christmas message about what can be achieved through teamwork, hard work and effort.
Headteacher David Coaché said: “Understanding the enduring meaning of the Nativity story is an essential part of our culture, which children all over the country are learning at this time of year.
“I’m delighted our children can actively demonstrate the Christian values of friendship, trust and perseverance, by performing to their friends and family to such a high standard and making everyone very proud indeed.”
