STAFF at Evesham’s Rooftop Housing Group are getting set for a summer fun day to raise cash for two worthwhile causes.
The party at Ferry View in Boat Lane on Wednesday (August 13) will raise cash for Sight Concern and Rooftop’s Can-Do Group for people with disabilities.
The day will kick off with a mega sale of jewellery from Hey Hey Good Looking while handcrafted products from Panache Gifts and JET Gifts, sweets from Gummy Gumdrops, homemade cakes, stationery and a tombola will be on offer between 10am and midday.
Live music from the Harvington Ukulele Band with refreshments and raffle will fill the afternoon activities from 2pm to 4pm.
Tickets for the live music can be pre-ordered for £3 each.
Rooftop’s Can-Do Group provides a social outlet for local people with disabilities through activities including jewellery making and sign language lessons and proceeds will go towards funding a day trip for the group.
