RECORD numbers descended on one of the county’s premier military vehicle and living history shows as Wartime in the Vale organisers marked 100 years since the end of the First World War.
With the stunning BBMF Dakota flypast on the Saturday and battle re-enactment on the Sunday there was plenty to see for visitors to Ashdown Farm near Badsey, which included the star of the show the Guy Martin replica tank
Deborah II driving in to the arena followed by the Royal Warks WWI living history group and a First World War horse drawn GS Wagon.
The rain held off long enough to see thousands of people visit the site over the weekend.
Organiser Amy Jelfs said: “We are now in our 11th year and going from strength to strength.”
“We look forward to welcoming visitors to next year’s event on June 15 and 16, 2019.”
