A STOLEN van being driven on false plates around Pershore was recovered by police yesterday (Monday, February 17).
Response officers in Evesham acted upon intelligence that the vehicle was being driven on illegal number plates and quickly located the vehicle.
The silver Ford van was parked on a residential street and upon inspecting the VIN number they discovered the vehicle was stolen.
Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team assisted in recovering the van which will be returned to its rightful owners. An investigation into those responsible for the vehicle’s theft continues.
The force is urging anyone with information about vehicles being stolen or being driven illegally or on false plates to email [email protected] or call 101.
