SEATS are still available on a special direct train from local stations to the Devon coast – the Cotswold Line Promotion Group’s (CLPG’s) first charter train for four years.
First class seats have already sold out but there are a number of standard class seats remaining for customers from Worcester Shrub Hill, Worcestershire Parkway, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne and Moreton-in-Marsh stations.
The special train on Saturday April 22 offers Cotswold Line customers a full day out in Torquay and Paignton with the option of a trip on the Paignton-Kingswear steam railway and on the connecting ferry over to Dartmouth.
The train which is due to arrive in Paignton at 10.40am , returning at 3.54pm will also call en-route at Taunton and Exeter stations.
