STUDENT’S from Pershore High School were educated on cycling safety by West Mercia Police to help them realise the potential dangers of riding a bike.
Members of Pershore Youth Council, in conjunction with West Mercia Constabulary ran a poster competition to reinforce the seriousness of cycle safety with Jasmine Balden claiming first place with her design focusing on wearing a helmet.
Lucy Thomas claimed second place and both received several cycling goodies as prizes, while all the participants came away more aware of cycling precautions.
