THERE was teatowels and tinsel in abundance at St Barnabas CE First And Middle School as youngsters in reception and years one and two staged their annual nativity.
‘Fishing for Stars’ follows the story of a little girl called Lucy who, more than anything in the world, wanted to catch stars.
While trying to catch stars Lucy meets the nativity characters and becomes part of the traditional nativity story.
Evening and afternoon performances were held for proud parents and staff and year one teacher Mrs Griffiths said: “We are very proud of all of the children’s efforts in learning their songs, words and dances.”
