Sprint support school's 'Bubble Badge' scheme

A PERSHORE commercial catering firm has shown their local support of Pershore High School by gifting badges to support the safe return of students.

Sprint Group paid for 1,000 badges for pupils, in a bid to support the great work of the school and encourage the pupils’ safety, on their return after the extended break since the Covid-19 pandemic.

To differentiate between the year groups, Pershore High have four differently coloured badges for years 8, 9, 10 and 11 to make sure that the teaching staff can distinguish students in different year groups at a glance.

The school have to have certain areas for certain year groups to learn in, so they remain in year group bubbles: Blue for Year 8, Red for Year 9, White for year 10 and Black for year 11.

Headteacher, Phil Hanson, said: “We are really delighted with the support we have received from Sprint Group it has helped us greatly in managing safe areas for different year groups.”

Sprint MD, Simon Carpmael, said: “We’re very happy to support our local community and so when we heard about Pershore High School’s Bubble Badges – we were keen to do our bit! It’s all about encouraging students back to school safely and we look forward to continuing to support Mr Hanson and the High School’s great work in the future.”
