A SPEEDING driver was caught by police driving at 112mph on the A46 in Evesham.
Officers from West Mercia Police were carrying out speed enforcement checks along the stretch of road between Salford Priors and Evesham today when they clocked the speeding driver.
At 112mph the driver was driving at more than 40mph above the national speed limit.
As a result officers reported the driver for excess speed in a 70mph and handed them a traffic offence report ticket. The driver will now appear in court.
The crackdown on speeding also caught a second driver doing 96mph along the same stretch of road.
