MOTHERS from across Evesham and Pershore will be remembered at a service being held by the Vale Crematorium.
On Mother’s Day – March 19 – people are being invited to visit the crematorium’s chapel between 10am and midday for a moment of contemplation, with reflective music playing.
Visitors will also be able to write personal messages to their lost loved ones on wooden hearts and light candles in memory of them.
Catherine Linfield, site manager at the Vale Crematorium, said: “Mother’s Day can be a particularly poignant time for those who have lost their mum or mother-figure, or for mothers who have been bereaved of a child. We are inviting local families to visit us during this period to have a moment of reflection and contemplation within our chapel and beautiful grounds.
“We hope that visiting us will bring comfort to anyone who needs it during this special time of the year.”
