Spate of moped thefts in Evesham as three stolen in two days

THERE has been a spate of moped thefts in Evesham in recent days.

Three mopeds were stolen in the space of just two days between Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18.

Thieves struck in Damson Drive between 12.45pm and 8.45pm last Friday when they stole a baby blue coloured Tamoretta moped, license number EU07 EJX, from a driveway of a property in Damson Drive.

Then, a Sim Scooter 50cc, license number KX11 EHJ, was taken from a front garden of a property in Rynal Place between 4.45pm and 8.40pm on the same day.




And sometime between 10pm last Friday and 8am the following morning, a black coloured Aprilia Mojito scooter, license number PN07 FKF, was stolen from a communal car park in Pinder Heights. It was later found abandoned in the river.

Anyone who may have information that they believe may be in connection to these thefts is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101.
