Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 30th Sep, 2018   0

IS SHE or isn’t she? Will she or won’t she? What will happen next?

Some of the questions remaining after the end of what has been called TV’s hottest drama, with regular audiences of 10 million plus.

Was the Home Secretary really dead or would she re-appear in the final episode?

She didn’t come back but the critics are talking of a possible resurrection if there is another series.

Fiction can have many peculiar twists and turns in the story, as the ‘Bodyguard’ has shown.

There are some I know who record the whole of a serial and then watch all the episodes in one go, but with the ‘Bodyguard’ they were put off by the hype of the Home Secretary’s death after episode three that they didn’t watch or record the rest.

Two thousand years ago a man was killed and buried. His family and friends all mourned him, thinking that he was gone forever.

Amazingly he had told them on numerous occasions that he would be killed and that he would rise again from the dead but sadly they did not believe him.

But it was true and three days after being crucified on a cross, Jesus Christ rose from the dead. He walked out of the tomb and explained to his startled disciples, family and friends that he really was alive.

This is not fiction but fact and it is amazing that we can know this resurrected Jesus for ourselves by simply accepting him into our lives as Saviour
