LAST Sunday I was in London on the Tube back to Hillingdon where I had parked my car for my journey home.
My underground journey included two changes of line and at the one I climbed the stairs and took a very steep escalator to make the change and at the top I found the line I wanted wasn’t working.
At the lower level there was no notice at all to say that the particular line was out of action. In fact the same thing had happened to me earlier in the year.
No doubt there have been many times in our lives when we wished that we had been told before hand concerning problems and difficulties about to face us.
There are a number of occasions in the Gospels where people were invited to come and see Jesus Christ and to the majority of them it meant a complete change of lifestyle and their attitudes to life changed for the better.
It is no different in today’s world as we accept the love of God that comes to us through the Lord Jesus Christ, enabling us to face situations, whether good or bad, awaiting us in the future.
I am so glad that someone told me about life with Jesus and that I listened to their good advice.
