Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 6th May, 2018   0

DID THE Member of Parliament really know the truth or were they just covering up?

Do we really want to sell Wembley Stadium and use the money elsewhere in football?

Is the modern thinking of the present age really going to benefit us in our daily lives?

We live in a very controversial world, whether we read about it or hear of it in the national or local media.

Controversy has been with us since time began and it has plagued our way of thinking ever since.

Even in our own lives we are bombarded by this offer or that benefit, either by TV adverts; leaflets through the door or on our internet screens and we have to decide whether we accept it or discard it.

So the question is, “Do we or don’t we accept the benefits that are offered to us, the choice is ours?”

Ever since Jesus Christ died on the cross and then rose again from the dead, we have been confronted with the controversial question of whether to accept him as Lord and Saviour in our lives or to turn our backs on him.

Jesus came to show us God’s love and by his ministry on earth he blessed thousands of people then, and subsequently down through the ages millions have experienced a new life through him.

As we contemplate this, the choice is ours.
