RIGHT or wrong, true or false?
So often in life we are faced with a situation which demands an answer to the problem we encounter.
Recently I had to renew my Church Safeguarding Training, which I did on-line.
During the two-hour long course, I was given a number of scenarios of possible happenings in real life. At the end of each one I was offered a number of answers to the various questions posed and I had to choose the correct answer or answers. Some of these answers were so similar that it took a few moments to realise which were the true or false ones.
During Jesus Christ’s ministry He was faced with many occasions when He had to choose between the right or wrong, the true or the false.
His biggest problem came in trying to make His disciples realise that He had to die on the cross in order to bring God’s salvation to the whole world.
We should not criticize them because they were ordinary working men who Jesus had chosen to be His disciples and to eventually be the ones who would spread the Good News of the Gospel all over the world.
They shared a message that is true and not false.
