Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 24th Oct, 2023   0

THE HEADING in one of the daily newspapers read, “Bot the Builder…robot lays 500 bricks an hour”.

The article went on to explain that an Australian firm had created a lorry mounted machine that could lay the equivalent number of bricks in an hour to what a human can do in a day.

Instead of traditional mortar which takes time to dry, an instant adhesive is used which also makes the building much stronger.

With a crew of 2, this machine can build structures safer, faster, cheaper and more accurately, according to the Company which designed it.

With a number of these machines, one can imagine buildings going up quickly all over the place, although I wonder about the construction of high-rise buildings.

We read in the Bible of many occasions about buildings and of putting our structures on good solid ground.

There are many times in the Gospels when Jesus Christ talks about building our lives on the solid ground of knowing Him as Lord and Saviour in our lives.

The Apostles writing in the New Testament, of the Bible, also encourage us to build our lives on strong, solid foundations so that we can face whatever situations we have in our daily lives.
