THE OTHER day a notice appeared on the computer screen telling me that I needed to change the keyboard batteries.
I duly obeyed the instruction but to my annoyance the keyboard did not work and I then realised why.
Normally the keyboard comes on automatically when the computer is switched on and I had forgotten that after a battery change it has to be switched on manually which I had not done.
At times, it can be so annoying when we forget to do something or neglect a task and therefore life becomes that much more difficult, especially if it affects other people.
The disciples of Jesus Christ were human beings just like us and therefore were prone to forget many of the important things which He told them and of course He had to put them right.
After His death, resurrection and ascension to Heaven, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help and guide them in their daily lives and give them the boldness to live out His life to all those around them.
They spread the gospel to all the world and today that same word is shared to all who will listen and believe.
