I WRITE this on the last day of my 80th year and so tomorrow I shall be one year older.
Over those years I have been able to meet thousands of people but I have never become famous.
I am so glad of that fact as I hear of the many celebrities who have found their former secrets or misdemeanours’ revealed, causing their names to be severely tarnished.
As I look back over my life, I cannot recall any secrets that would cause me to worry or be concerned about.
When Jesus Christ was here on earth, He met many people who had so many secrets in their lives and were living a lie, but He knew all about them and as they listened to Him, they realised their need of Him in their lives.
Sixty years ago, I met the Lord Jesus and He became my Saviour and Lord and I have allowed Him to guide me throughout those years and in every situation of my life, whether good or not so good and He has been there to guide me.
Although I cannot see Him physically, I know that He is there to help and guide me as I come to Him in prayer. This has always been a great source of comfort and help over the years.
