RECENTLY my wife and I took a trip on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.
Having parked the car at Toddington Station, we travelled on the train to Cheltenham and then returned to Broadway where my wife got out, not realising that a Diesel Engine had been attached to the rear of the train to take it back to Toddington.
Before she could get back on, the train was on its way to Toddington with me still on board.
Of course, it wasn’t long before I was able to drive to Broadway and pick her up to travel home.
Fortunately, we were able to laugh and joke about the whole incident.
Throughout life there can be many moments when we might get ‘left behind’ and not always with a laughable outcome.
Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ met many people who it would seem that life had left them behind and with no way forward, but He came alongside them in their situations and changed the whole outlook on their lives.
By asking Jesus Christ into our lives we can know His help and guidance as we seek Him in prayer and He will share His wonderful love with us on our earthly journey and we never need to be ‘left behind’.
