OVER a lifetime it would be interesting to realise just how long we have spent waiting, either on the telephone for an answer or in a queue for one reason or another.
During those times it can be very frustrating, especially if it is for a reason which could actually be avoided.
This past week end we have witnessed the end of a very long wait for the Coronation of King Charles lll, for all of his life he has been the King in waiting, knowing that one day he would take on the mantle of responsibility from his mother on her death.
Now he must go forward in the legacy which she has left for him to carry out, giving him a mandate by the way in which she herself lived, with her Christian testimony.
In the Bible we read that Jesus Christ came to earth to carry out the mandate which His Father, God, had given Him to do.
On numerous occasions in the Gospels, we are told that He made it plain to His disciples that He must be crucified, die and be raised to life again after three days.
He told them that they must take forward the message of Salvation into all the world and that message lives on today as we accept Him into our lives by accepting His great love, available for each one of us.
