How often have we said or heard the phrase, “I did not know that”.
There are so many times in our lives when it is presumed by other people that we are aware of something which affects us or our family and friends.
Especially in these days of social media, the internet and mobile phones people expect us to know everything that affects us.
Even in close knit families there can be those times when we are ‘in the dark’ and are unaware of happenings around us and causes us to miss out on special occasions.
Of course, there are those ‘in the know’ who will endeavour to make sure that we too become part of the ‘knowledgeable’ group of people.
After that first Easter morning when some of Jesus Christ’s Disciples and friends proclaimed that He had risen from the dead, there were so many who still did not believe it to be true.
Those who had seen the Risen Christ made it known to as many people as possible that He had risen from the dead and was alive.
Over the next forty days Jesus made Himself known to scores of people to prove that just as He had said to them, that He must die on the cross, but would be raised again from the dead. This was to fulfil the Old Testament Scriptures which stated that fact time and time again.
As we open our lives to Him as Lord and Saviour, we can also prove that He is alive.
