Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 4th Jun, 2017   0

OVER the past months there has been much controversy over problems with viewers not being able to hear or decipher speech on a number of television programmes.

The main complaint was, why do we have to put up with poor quality sound when there is so much outstanding technology around?

Last Friday I was sat outside enjoying the evening sunshine when a bird began to sing a beautiful melodious song.

The clarity and volume was unbelievable from this little nightingale as it sang with all its might.

A top of the range sound system costing thousands of pounds could not have added any more to this fantastic performance.

As I sat listening to this wonderful melody I realised again the greatness of God’s creation that this little creature, which would fit into my hand, could fill the area in which I was sitting with such power and might.

Too often we are rushing here, there and everywhere to be able to stop to appreciate the Love of God that is all around us in His creation.

Why not stop and consider the wonderful make-up of even the simplest of flowers in the garden and see God’s creative hand in it, showing us His great Love.

Of course, the greatest proof of the Love of God is found in the fact that His Son, Jesus Christ, came to earth to show us that Love and to lead us know it for ourselves right now.
