It looked so beautiful but underneath it was very dangerous.
I speak of the snow which appeared at the beginning of this week.
Everything was covered in a shinning white coat that indeed was a delight to see.
But after a day or so of being trodden under foot and with the severe frost which followed, that beauty became treacherous to both pedestrians and motorists alike.
Sadly, so often in our lives there can be those times which look so good but eventually turn into something we wish had never happened.
Some of those times can be self-inflicted when we know that we should have known better and others when there was nothing that we could do to prevent it.
During Jesus Christ’s time here on earth He met many people who had terrible problems which they could do nothing about and they were helpless to the situation in which they found themselves.
Jesus came into their lives and brought about a deliverance which only He could do and their lives were completely changed and they became people who went forward and shared that good news with others who also needed His love and compassion.
Whoever we are and whatever our situation, Jesus Christ can meet us at our point of need, as we accept His love, joy and peace now.
