WHEN my wife and I were in Scotland last week we travelled on the morning Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig.
Having had a trip on the wildlife boat excursion seeing Dolphins and Minky Whales we arrived back in plenty of time to catch the return train back to Fort William. Unfortunately, I was thinking that it left at 2.20pm but it was really at 2.10pm so as we arrived at the station, we saw the end of the train disappearing into the distance.
Fortunately, when the afternoon train came in, we approached the guard with our dilemma, and he informed us that there were at least two seats available.
Normally I would be there before time in order to film the engine as it stood at the head of the train, but sadly not this time.
There can be many times in our lives when we can be late and miss something important and regret it at a later date.
On one occasion when Jesus Christ was talking to the vast crowd who constantly followed Him, He told them to make sure that they were ready for His coming back again.
That same message comes to us today which says that we should be ready because we do not know the hour or day when He will come back to take us to the Prescence of God in Heaven.
