Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 31st Aug, 2022   0

THE other day I had to go to Worcester for an appointment at an eye clinic and as I had not been there before I decided to raise a map on my computer.

Not only did I get the route, but the site also gave me an aerial view of the building and the surrounding area.

This showed me that there was plenty of parking and the entrance that I was to use was at the rear of the building.

On arrival at the clinic, I parked at the back of the building only to find that this entrance was overgrown with shrubs and bushes, certainly no way in.

I eventually found the only entrance was at the front of the building which meant that I could have parked much closer than I had.

The photograph on the web site was certainly quite out of date.

We live in a world which so often can give us confusing messages and we long for straight forward instructions.

The people of Jesus Christ’s day were misled and confused by the religious leaders who should have known better.

But Jesus came with a straightforward message from God that all the people could understand and accept and with no glaring anomalies.

That message is still the same today, simple and not obscured by the ‘overgrown bushes and shrubs’ of today’s world.

Love, joy, peace and salvation can be found by each one of us from God through Jesus.
