WHAT a big difference a wrong letter can make.
The other day I received an email inviting me to a Zoom meeting at7-30am on a certain day.
About an hour later I received another email apologising for the fact that the time should be 7-30pm.
Of-course that simple mistake could make all the difference to the days’ timetable of most or the recipients.
How many documents or letters do we receive where there are obvious spelling and typing mistakes because the transcript has not been checked.
Each week my wife checks this column and if there are mistakes, I soon get to know about them.
In life it is not always so easy to have someone there to help us with our mistakes and correct us as we travel on life’s journey.
In the Bible we read of many people who made mistakes and did not know how to get them rectified until they allowed Jesus Christ to come alongside, for Him to help them.
Jesus met ordinary people, just like us, who did not know Him but who had only heard about Him from other people, but once they met Him their whole perception of the Lord changed as they saw Him for who He really is, the Saviour of the World.
Whether it is 7-30am or 7-30pm, Jesus will always be there to help us as we call to Him in prayer
