Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 7th May, 2017   0

ACCORDING to a national newspaper article the Grade-II listed Victorian railway station at Penmaenmawr on the North Wales main line is up for sale.

At a guide price of £125,000 to £150,000 it could be a dream home for a trainspotter with a love of sea views like myself.

Not only can you enjoy looking across the Irish Sea to Anglesey but also to those who love watching steam trains there are a number of these that pass on their way to and from Holyhead each year.

The property, between Colwyn Bay and Bangor, was built in 1848 and decommissioned by British Rail in 1986 and it is a chance to buy a piece of the North Wales railway history.

A few years ago my wife and I might have considered the possibility but we are very settled where we live now.

We believe that our next abode will be the place that Jesus Christ has promised to all Christians everywhere, when he said. “Trust me. There is plenty of room for you in my Father’s home. If that weren’t so, would I have told you that I’m on my way to get a place ready for you?”

That is the wonderful hope that we can have when we ask Jesus Christ to become our Saviour and Lord.
