DURING my teenage years we would often use the phrase, “Watch out, big brother is watching you.”
Of course, in those days it was more a joke than a reality, never thinking that it would happen in my lifetime.
In our world today there are cameras everywhere and on most of our mobile phones as well, recording all our activities.
Many famous people have been caught out because they were doing the wrong thing in the wrong place at the wrong time, including some from many years ago.
If we are good law-abiding citizens, then we have nothing to fear but of course it can be so easy to be one mile over the speed limit, or even say a wrong word unknowingly that will upset someone because they have taken it the wrong way.
The Bible teaches us that God never sleeps and is always available to watch over us as we call upon him in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ.
When he was alive on the earth, Jesus was always looking out for people in need, and he always helped them as they came to him with their illnesses and problems.
Although his presence is not visible among us today, Jesus is still able to meet us as we come to God in prayer in the Saviour’s name
