Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 31st May, 2021

MANY people are spending their holidays as a ‘staycation’ at the moment but with the weather we have been having this month it will no doubt be a case of rainwear and wellingtons instead of buckets and spades.

Every year thousands travel abroad for their holidays to enjoy the warm sunshine and large sandy beaches.

Last year and parts of this year have been totally different to that which we have normally experienced, and it has not gone down very well with so many people.

Year in and year out we have come to expect the fact that we shall be enjoying the atmosphere of the resorts which have been our destination for our two to three weeks holiday.

There are, of course, so many wonderful places to visit here in our British Isles, but the dreaded weather so often spoils the experience.

Many disappointments come in life, and we have to make the best of every situation.

We may be facing one of those times right now, but we need not face it alone, because we can say a prayer to God through His Son, Jesus Christ who came to bring us the good news of salvation.

During his time on earth Jesus met many people who had been disappointed in one way or another and he brought answers and blessings to them
