IT TURNEDÂ out not to be the ending that everybody had been expecting.
In fact, there were so many who were actually disappointed, me included, at the way in which the television police thriller Line of Duty ended with many loose ends seemingly still to be tied up.
This leaves open the opportunity for another series.
The Author had the right to decide which way the story ended and has the choice to write further episodes if he wishes.
We have choices in our own lives, but we often expect our future to go in a certain way but so many times it does not turn out the way that we expect.
Jesus Christ’s disciples were looking for a future with him in which they would continue going around preaching the Love of God, healing the sick and helping people with their problems. They did not expect him to be crucified and buried, however when he rose from the dead, they were overjoyed that his ministry might continue once more.
There will be disappointments in our lives but as we trust God we will find that our future will be fulfilled
