Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 14th Feb, 2021   0

LOOKING out of the window as I sit down to write this, I see the odd snowflake drifting down from the small cloud above and I wonder if we are in for a snowstorm.

Having watched the skiing on the television from the Alps, it is amazing to realise that those skiers are racing over billions and billions of little snowflakes all bonded together.

The natural planet is an amazing place on which to live but sadly we humans are spoiling it with our wasteful behaviour and selfishness.

My wife and I were on a Zoom meeting today learning about the re-cycling efforts in our area. So much is being done to re-use a great percentage of the things we no longer need but which can be used in the future.

It is encouraging to know that there are so many efforts worldwide which are being done to endeavour to try to bring our planet back to something like its original state.

In the Bible we read that God created the earth and all that is in it and “He saw that it was good’.

When Jesus Christ began his earthly ministry, we also read in the Bible that God said, “You are my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”.

Jesus came to show us the love that His Father has, not just for the world which He created, but also for each one of us who live on that planet.
