LOOKING back over almost eight decades I contemplate the vast changes which have taken place during that time and it would seem none more so than in todays upside down world.
Of course the present global situation has multiplied the enormous changes to our present living conditions and life styles.
Over those decades the world has seemed to have shrunk in size due to the rapid way in which we can now communicate with all parts of the planet.
As a child the likes of Dan Dare and Journey into Space seemed as unbelievable fiction, but now space travel and high-speed movement from one side of the planet to the other is so commonplace.
But there is so much that hasn’t change such as the beauty, majesty and wonder of the flora and fauna around us.
Many times over the past few months I have marvelled again and again at the magnificent intricacies of all the nature around me and also to realise that there is a Divine Creator who brings it all into being.
Because of that, it is good to be able to realise that there is a God who cares for us and longs to be part of our lives in every situation, be it good or bad.
Jesus Christ came to earth to bring the reality of that Loving God to us so that we can know him as our Heavenly Father, even in the darkest times.
