Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 17th May, 2020   0

MY WIFE constantly tells me that I need a haircut.

I know I should have made an appointment for a haircut long before the epidemic altered our way of life. Now I am going to be at the mercy of her untrained hands with a pair of scissors.

It has been said that during this lockdown period, many are going to see a person’s true hair colour which can be quite upsetting.

Of course there will be so many things that we normally do which have had to be shelved during the past few weeks.

But, there are those things that we have been able to do because we have had more time on our hands.

Tidying the small shed that houses my model railway engines, I came across a number of kits that I have had for years but never assembled. I have now completed some of these but there are more to do in the next few weeks.

So often in life we realise that there are things, which we should have done but we haven’t, very often to our own, as well as the detriment of others.

In the Bible we read of many people who did not do what they should have done and it meant that those around them might have missed out on the blessings that God wanted to give.

Jesus came to give us one of the greatest blessings, the love of his Father God, which is available for each of us today.
