HOW VERY, very confusing.
At the time of writing, it is Monday and ‘Black Friday’ is still being advertised in the media with all the so-called discounts on many different items and services.
Then to cap it all we have one supplier advertising their bargains as ‘Cyber Monday’.
I am also led to believe many of the ‘bargains’ are not really ‘bargains’ at all, so where do we go from here?
We live in an amazing and wonderful world, but we humans have made it a very confusing place.
With so many ways of communicating these days the world is awash with information vying for our attention and response.
It has been said we assimilate as much information in one day as our ancestors did in a lifetime, so no wonder life can become very confusing.
When Jesus Christ was born into this world, he came to a very confused place because the Roman Empire was ruling over his homeland and the people wanted rid of the invaders.
Many thought this Jesus, the Messiah, had come to be a Freedom Fighter.
But they were confused because he came not fight with a sword but to bring deliverance through sharing the love of God with the whole world.
Today his message is still the same for us, showing that we should accept that love and live it out in our lives to all those around us.
