Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 17th Feb, 2019

EARLIER this week I had to collect my youngest grandson from school and I was unsure where to park to meet him.

To show me where to go his mother took a photograph, of the car park, on her mobile phone and e-mailed it to me.

Last Sunday I had to visit a house I had only been to once before some time ago and I was unsure quite where it was.

I decided to look on Google Earth and looked on the satellite image and immediately recognised my destination.

One of my fellow passengers also used their mobile phone to follow the directions and we arrived at our destination without any problems.

Modern technology can be very useful but also quite scary when one can wonder who is actually watching us or looking at our computers.

There is someone who constantly watches over us and cares for us, if we will allow him to.

Psalm 121 in the Bible tells us “The Lord who watches over you will not slumber, indeed as he watches over you he will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore”.

Now that is something worth thinking about and as we allow Jesus Christ to be our Saviour and Lord, then that is very comforting and helpful throughout our daily lives and enables us to be a blessing to those around us.
