Something to Think About

Correspondent 10th Feb, 2019

ON MONDAY we were travelling down to Hampshire on our usual route towards the M4 at Swindon.

On our way between Stow on the Wold and Cirencester we heard on Radio Gloucester there had been a serious accident on the road between Cirencester and Swindon, with over an hours delay northbound but just ten minutes on the southbound carriageway.

Just as we were thinking of turning towards Oxford and changing our route, Radio Oxford road report cut in to say that there was an accident on the A34 with long delays there, so we decided to carry on our original route.

What we did not know was a car had broken down and also there had been another accident on the southbound carriageway at Swindon.

The outcome was that we crawled for an hour and half until we reached the M4 motorway.

There are many times in our lives when we wonder which way should we take in a certain situation that will be to our benefit.

In the Gospels we read of the occasions in which Jesus Christ met people, who because of that meeting with him had a life changing encounter, which changed their whole perspective on life.

God wants each one of us to go forward on the right path and into a future where we can know of his love, joy and peace, which we can enjoy when we know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour in our lives.
