One of the ways to travel from our village to the Evesham Bypass, is to use a country lane.
At the bypass we can only turn left onto the south bound carriageway and no way can we turn north.
Bypass traffic travelling south can turn left onto the lane into the village.
Last week there was a diversion sign at the bypass end of the lane which told the drivers to turn right, which would have been catastrophic to say the least as there is a pedestrian island in the middle of the bypass which prevents such a manoeuvre taking place.
Whoever had planned this had not given the situation much thought.
So often life can be like that when things are planned without any thought concerning the outcome and the future.
When Jesus Christ was here on earth, He met many people who had been given the wrong advice which had led them towards a catastrophic conclusion.
Jesus spoke to them with words of assurance and hope and turned their lives around so that they headed in the right direction.
Whatever our situation is today, we can come in prayer to Him who can show us the right way forward and be headed in the right direction for our daily lives.
