WITH less than a week to go until the World Cup kicks off, Evesham residents are being invited to dig deep and bid for former England captain John Terry’s signed shirt.
Volunteers at Wallace House Community Centre on Oat Street are looking for bids for the shirt, which dates back to the 2008/9 season and worn by Terry during an England international.
All the money raised from the winning bid will go to the centre’s fund-raising appeal and bids are invited until Thursday, June 28.
Anyone interested in making a bid can e-mail [email protected] or leave a bid in a sealed envelope together with their contact details with volunteers at the centre.
