Sitting pretty thanks to charity help

Rob George 15th Sep, 2017   0

A YOUNG Pershore family are now sitting comfortably thanks to help from a Vale charity which reuses donated furniture items in order to help those in need.

With money tight Lucy Reynolds of Railground, Pershore has taken delivery of a sofa and armchair and other furniture items courtesy of Blackminster based charity Roundabout.

Roundabout has been operating across South Worcestershire, the North Cotswolds and West Warwickshire for the past 22 years and relies entirely on donations of surplus furniture items.

“I moved to my current address in early August with my baby Isaac,” said Lucy

“I relocated from Surrey in order to be near my family. I am really grateful for the assistance provided by Roundabout.

The charity helps individuals and families in need through a referral process and provides them with free furniture items except for a small administration charge.
