CREATIVE youngsters from a Vale school showcased their artistic talents during a visit by Evesham’s MP.

Nigel Huddleston visited Offenham First School to view the art installation created by pupils, staff and parents with some help from artists Lyndsay Chalford-Brown, Rachel Denning, and Eleanor Taylor.

As part of the school’s arts week the youngsters created the impressive display, which was inspired by the British values of respect, responsibility, truth, friendship and perseverance and the school’s values of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.

“I met the student project leaders who had clearly enjoyed taking on the responsibility of motivating and managing a team,” Mr Huddleston said.

“The art itself, from the huge tree, to the fruits, to the collages and stained glass windows were all impressive.

“I cannot wait got go back and see the installation in its full glory.”
