SEVEN foreign nationals have been discovered in the back of a lorry in Badsey.
The group of Iranian and Iraqi men were found by West Mercia Police on Badsey Road, after they received a report at 3.35pm yesterday (Thursday).
They were arrested for entering the UK illegally and were taken to Worcester Police Station, where Immigration Enforcement officers are currently questioning five of them – Iranian nationals aged between 20 and 39.
A further Iranian and an Iraqi national, believed to be minors, are due to be transferred to the care of social services to be independently aged assessed.
A spokesperson from Immigration Enforcement, said: “Where someone is found to have no right to remain in the UK, we will take action to remove them.”
