ARRESTS have been made following two incidents at a caravan site near Bredon over the weekend.
A total of seven men, aged from 18 to 63 years old, were arrested following the initial incident at about 10pm on Saturday (May 28) on the Castle View travellers site on Tewkesbury Road.
Officers then received a further report at about 7.40am on Sunday (May 29) of further disorder at the same caravan site.
Two men, aged 21 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder relating to the incident on Saturday night.
A further four men, aged 18, 20, 22 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm, whilst a seventh man, aged 63, was arrested on suspicion of common assault.
All seven men remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Insp Billy Keys said: “We would like to reassure the public that we believe these to have been isolated incidents. However, people may see an increased police presence near to the caravan site as we continue with our investigations.”
